Chocolate-Raspberry Elixir

Who doesn’t like Cacao? Yes, cacao (cack-ow)… the bean which chocolate derives from. It may be manipulated and used in various ways, but in it’s raw, and unprocessed form, it’s (lightly put) THE BOMB.

Raw Cacao can actually be considered a super-food, as it’s bursting with magnesium, selenium, antioxidants. (Below: Cacao PODS – where chocolate comes from!)

Because it does contain theobromine which can stimulate the adrenals and cause ‘high’s, some are not as supportive of its use. I am totally understanding of this as just a little bit causes me to become wired for hours…

But I think you have to live life now and again – and Raw cacao is one of the ways I do that. This elixir makes it pretty darn easy to enjoy as well.

Chocolate-Raspberry Elixir

Serving Size: 2

Preparation Time: 5-10 Minutes



1 1/2 Cups Boiling Water (or not as hot to keep it raw and vegan)

3/4 Cup Coconut MIlk (I always make my own!)

2 Drops Raspberry Extract or 1/4 cup raspberries

1/2 Cup Dates

Dash of: Cinnamon, Clove, miniscule amount of Vanilla

2 Tbsp Cacao Powder



1) In a high-speed blender, combine all ingredients on high until nicely emulsified.

2) Slurp, Enjoy, LOVE.
