To be honest, more than I can count. It was a place I aspired to work once I finished my Naturopathic studies and was healing the world with my smarts… *ahem* yeah, you can laugh.
What I didn’t expect, was to be given the amazing opportunity to work there while fresh out of High School!! (I will post an entire book with all the pictures and lessons learned from THAT experience).
Working in the kitchens, however, I slowly merged from a raw/vegan lifestyle way too high in fruit, to one with more grounding nuts/seeds, grains, vegetables, and minimal fruits..*and oils*
I learned WHY low-glycemic is so important in a place where Diabetes is being cured, and harbored a new curiosity of how to make delicious raw desserts.
By the time I left that amazing place, not only had I created wonderful treats for my friends and guests, but had honed an honest love of sharing healthy desserts with people who have the passion to make change in themselves.
Because of this… I have exciting news!
I’m developing a NEW ‘un’-ookbook, one NOT available yet with all the other ‘high-sugar’, fruit filled recipes.

There will be a few focused categories like:
Breads, Crackers, and Crusts
Dips, Sauces, and Dressings,
Smoothies and Soups,
Side Dishes and Appetizers,
Meat & Cheese Alternatives
Okay, so more than a few…
I plan on giving away a few recipes here and there before it’s published. Another great thing I’m excited about is the place I think I might publish with (Book Publishing Company) only does health focused books. They prefer vegetarian and have great history with raw ‘un-cookbooks’ like best sellers Cherie Soria (Living Light’s own Creator) and her book Angel Foods, celebrating our Raw Nature by Dorit, and Living Raw Desserts (which I absolutely love) by Rose Lee Calabro.
I’m super excited to dish out some recipes as soon as possible because my Excalibur Dehydrator should be here today!!!
….Okay, here’s a few I’m planning on putting in it.
Pad Thai Sauce (for you kelp noodles!)
Sweet Pepper and Chive Dip
Honey Barbeque Sauce (that will be a winner)
Low-Glycemic ICE CREAM
Neapolitan mini cakes
Nutty Butter Bars…
And more entrees when I put them together.
Maybe I’ll even give a few books away when it’s all done……
