Nourishing Warrior Smoothie

This drink is dynamic. I’m sipping the glorious marriage of such nourishing ingredients, and as a lover of words and flavors, this is what is coming to me:

Nourishing Warrior, Gleaming Spirit.

warrior1

Comprised of coconut water, coconut jelly/meat, blackberries, and Maca, it has everything I could want to fuel my body and inspire my soul. It’s bursting with nutrition, for example:

Coconuts are a great source of healthy saturated fats (they help you lose weight, help your brain, etc…), are rich in ascorbic acid, B vitamins, and protein, and the water is abundant in electrolytes!

Blackberries are a low-glycemic fruit, are blooming with anti-oxidants, and are great for digestion and fueling the brain.

Maca is a super-food root that is an incredible aphrodisiac, hormone balancer, mood booster, and skin health enhancer.

And not only is this concoction of all  ingredients delicious, it’s simple to make – 3 minutes and you’re in heavenly bliss.

1) Open your Young Thai Coconut (see here if you don’t yet know how to do this), pour the water into a high-speed blender. The Blendtec is a great option.
