What do you dress your greens with? If you’re still reaching for store-bought dressings, it’s time to stop.
Making your own is not only a fun affair, home-made (and un-cooked, plant-based) versions are much tastier and economical than packaged types. Most importantly, you have control over what ingredients go in your body. Win!
Therefore I’ve created a delicious raw & vegan Caesar Salad Dressing to top your greens and be scooped up by veggies and flax crackers. Once you make this, you’ll have a go-to staple for all your needs.
- ¾ Cup Cashews
- 3-5 Dates
- 5 Basil Leaves
- 1 Tbsp Nutritional Yeast
- 3-4 Cloves Garlic
- ¼ tsp Salt
- ¼ tsp Black Pepper
- ¼ Cup Water
- 4-5 Limes, Juiced
- In a high-speed blender, combine all ingredients until smooth and creamy.
- Store in an air-tight jar or tubaware container for 6-7 days (May last longer in some climates)
