“I’ve tried EVERY diet and still can’t lose weight” a desperate pair of eyes pleads, trying to find reason, perhaps even pity, to just help in their unbearable situation. The truth is, though, is that that’s what caused the problem – the pursuit of dieting!
As a verb – what most people chase after once they wake up to the startling realization none of their clothes fit, they have acid reflux, barely have any energy, and don’t know what to think about themselves, diet means :Restrict oneself to small amounts or special kinds of food in order to lose weight: “it is difficult to diet in a house full of cupcakes”.
Skewed scientists and nutritionists are quick to tell you that our insatiable hunger for carbohydrates is unhealthy – and it’s okay to have 5 weight-watchers Twinkie snacks, as long as you calorie restrict. The problem with this type of thinking is that no one is focusing on the actual foods being consumed (ie: the diet) but instead on amounts one is allowed to eat (dieting).
In America, most people consume 40-60 percent of their calories from fat ( animal products mainly) and the rest from refined sugars and refined carbohydrates. They are RARELY eating nutritious, water-filled, fiber-rich foods like fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and legumes. Because everything has been at our fingertips in the food category, eating junk food, fast food, and high-animal protein dishes is the norm, therefore that’s seen as the regular diet. Foods like these, though, are highly acidic, toxic, mucous forming, and are nutritionally devoid, therefore they are high in empty calories that are not filling and make you want to keep eating more, and more… causing a horrible cycle of overeating foods which are dense calorically, but will never make your body happy because it’s not true food and you’ll always be craving nutrients.
Obviously, what I’m getting at is that if you’re trying to go on a diet, you’ve never actually been on one.
(Real eating means eating real food).
As a noun, diet means: The kinds of food that a person, animal, or community habitually eats.

(Which only leads to you becoming under-carbed, moody, and most likely gaining weight and many health problems).
Focus on abundance – fruits, vegetables, leafy greens, legumes, sprouted grains, and some nuts and seeds – foods that give you all the essential amino acids, nutrients, and pure food energy!
